It just happened!!! Madalynn took her first steps... two as a matter of fact. It was tonight after her bath I put her down in front of her little doorway/house I got her for her birthday, and she took 2 tentative steps toward it... Mommy cheered & cried. It happened so fast I couldn't get it on camera. I'll have it ready for the next time though.

I took the one step down into my garage, and my foot went out from under me, and down Madalynn & I went. Thankfully I held on to her, and took the brunt of the fall... she did scream, and cry but I think it was more because it scared her (Mommy screaming on the way down didn't help either). To quote Forrest Gump I was wounded 'Directly in the butt-tocks!!' it's a shade of purple I've never seen on human skin before. Oyyyy. Thankfully, the best thing about being shot in the 'Butt-tocks' is the ice cream!!
