Big Birthdays & Fun in the Sun!!

One of the things I love about living in New England is the shifts in weather at the drop of a hat. Yesterday was reasonabably sunny & warm in New England, and humid (after being over 100 earlier in the week). Today it was cold, raw, rainy, probably bearly breaking 60... I do love it. This is a picture from the 100 degree day... a girl & her juice!! (This was right before she dropped my new camera, and broke the lens...oyyyy... thankfully it wasn't the camera, and a new lens is on it's way).

Anyway, yesterday was nice enough to take Madalynn out in the little blow up pool I bought her. The water was quite cold as I filled it right before she went in. It didn't phase her though, and she got mad when I took her out. Sitting in a folding chair in my backyard watching my daughter splash, and play in her kiddie pool made me feel like such a Mom!!

First we tried out the swing giving the water time to warm up a bit. I don't know why she stops smiling & laughing the second my camera comes out.

I was remiss in my blogging duties to wish 2 important guys a Happy Birthday!!

My brother Rob is celebrating his 30ish-something b-day today (and he was actually born on Father's Day!!).

My nephew Adam had his big 7th birthday blowout yesterday!! He had a Red Sox themed party. I can't believe he's 7 already. I used to call him Mr.Big but he asked quite awhile ago for me to stop calling him that.

I also got out a musical table I got as a shower gift from my dear friends the Murphies!! She LOOOOVES it, and this is her reaction to using it for the first time.

Just an update on my attempt at gardening. It's coming along pretty well.
