We're having quite a winter this year... ice storms, followed by snow storms, followed by more ice...eeekkkk!! As I always say, it makes spring that much sweeter.
So, this is the conversation between my Dad & I last Friday....
My Dad(out of the blue); "Does Madalynn have a snowsuit?"
Me; "Does Madalynn need a snowsuit??" (Refer back to any previous post regarding me not being 'outdoorsy'.)
Dad;" Well, we have that nice hill in our back yard, and I wanted to take her sledding."
Me; "Okay... I'll get her a snowsuit"
Fastforward to Friday afternoon when I find a great deal on a snowsuit at Marshall's (and BOOTS!!).
Fastforward to Sunday after another 6-8 inches of snow has fallen.
My Mom calls me...
Mom; "You coming over? Dad's been working on the sledding trails"
Me; "Sledding trails?"
Mom; "Yes, he's out there with the snowblower... he bought 3 sleds"
Me; "3 sleds??"
Mom; "Yes...now he's going down the hill in one... I just saw an inner tube go sailing by"
Me; Chuckling picturing my 66 year old Dad going sledding, and preparing 'trails' for his 18 month old granddaughter.
She loved it... all the way down & around... she'd say 'Weeehhhh'
Since a picture is worth a thousand words... here they are...
When we put her in the snow she did not want to move... she enjoyed it... but didn't understand she could move her feet.
